Uncle Bob. Prolific songwriter and former lead man of guided by voices.
This show was PACKED. The Brunettes opened this show with about 20 people - Bob closed it and must have had over 1000 cheering fans singing along. I always knew Guided By Voices was popular but I didn't realize that they would have the "hard core" fans I saw at this show.
Couple of quick notes. There was some serious mixing issues at the shoe, though it got better. During the first few songs Bob's voice was clearing clipping and too loud. By the fifth or sixth song all mixing issues had been resolved - and the rest of the show came out great.
