How cool is that - a California contributor on Lullabyes? I've always been slightly jealous of the West Coast, especially California - and all of the amazing shows that go on there. Well if we can't live there, then thank goodness we have a friend who goes to shows and captures them for the rest of us!

And wait til Jay post's his first show... I promise you're going to dig it...

Okay - so a quick flashback to one of my favorite shows from 2004. I was recently going through the shows I'd posted and I realized that I'd only posted a couple of Rilo Kiley shows. I used to contribute on RiloKiley.net on a regular basis and had posted this (and many other) Rilo Kiley soundboards in 2003 and 2004.

I saw this show as part of 4 day adventure across Texas seeing Rilo in Houston, Austin, Dallas and Denton. Let's just saw that by the end of it I was one tired, but happily fulfilled, lad.

This was one of the only instore shows they did on the Fall 2004 More Adventurous tour. There had actually been several more set up in California - but they all got cancelled. I couldn't believe my luck that they had cancelled the Cali shows, but were still going to do the one in Texas!

This was a beautiful little show at Good Records in Dallas - I got to stand about 2 feet from the band while they rawked their acoustic hearts out.
