mo pair 11/15/06
Last year I posted on Beaumont, Texas native Mo Pair. I taped him lusciously covering early Pink Floyd material with nothing more than an acoustic, and a harmonica for company. It ended up being a lovely recording, and Mo Pair released the show as a record late last year. The Pink Floyd Happy Hour - buy it here.
I had a chance to see him 3-4 more times last year, and caught most of the shows on tape. Here's my favorite - a great recording from Brasil, a coffee house and bar in the Montrose area of Houston. Mo Pair performs numerous covers, including Pink Floyd's Wots.. Uh The Deal as well as interesting choices from the Grateful Dead and Woody Guthrie.
